We purchased a home in Madison and asked our Realtor to recommend a carpenter, knowing she had done extensive remodeling of her own home. Bob Day came highly recommended to us, and we were enourmously pleased with the work he did in our home. He moved an existing door opening in our kitchen, reframed it, moved the electric to the opposite side so it would again be useable, and rebuilt the wall, and taped and sanded the drywall – and finished it so well that even theough we know where it "was", we cannot tell where the old door stood! He also had to replace some of the existing Pergo flooring, and those areas are indiscernible from the original.

Cost for labor/materials was withing the estimate he had given us, as was the time frame for completion, and he was efficient and left the area cleaned up at the end of each day's work. We are planning two more projects in the spring, and will definitely use his company to do them.
